1268 Pathology Pick up Rate in Routine Preoperative Endoscopy and its Impact on Patients Undergoing Gastric Bypass Surgery

Abstract Aim Preoperative OGD in patients undergoing bariatric surgery, has been a subject for debate decades. The aim of this study is to evaluate the pathology pick up rate routine preoperative endoscopy Gastric Bypass surgery (LRYGB) our unit. Method Retrospective review patients’ records who underwent LRYBG unit from February 2009 March 2020. Patients were divided into two groups according presence or absence symptoms prior surgery: Group A (Asymptomatic) and B (Symptomatic). Data prospectively kept electronic reports, CLO test results, histology reports changes management plan collected analysed.
